Meet your teacher

Hi, I’m Kay! I’m a native Japanese speaker from Kyushu, with 10 years working in Tokyo before earning my Master’s at UCLA. Now, I live in North County, San Diego, with my husband and two kids.
With over seven years of teaching experience, I help kids learn through conversation, games, and storytelling, making Japanese natural and fun. I also support students taking Japanese classes at school, helping them stay on track and gain confidence.
