Meet Your Teacher - Sachi

Hi, I’m Sachi! I’m a native Japanese speaker from Kyushu, and I spent 10 years working in Tokyo before earning my Master’s degree at UCLA. I now live in North County, San Diego, with my husband and two kids.

With over a decade of teaching experience, I love helping students learn Japanese through conversation, games, and storytelling — making the language come alive in a natural and fun way. I also bring that same patient, engaging approach to helping students unlock their math potential, gain confidence, and see how numbers connect to the real world. 

Teaching is my passion. My mission is to share practical and joyful tools that make both Math and Japanese simpler, more rewarding, and full of discovery. Everything I teach comes from years of experience and a genuine love for helping students grow!
